Part 3—Interview with Amish Author Sherry Gore

Sherry Gore Interview Part 3 Graphic

It’s countdown week at AmishReader.com! Made with Love (Book 1 in The Pinecraft Pie Shop series) releases this Saturday, and we’re celebrating with a series of fun little interviews with Amish coauthor Sherry Gore. Come meet the foodie behind the fiction!

Today’s interview is all about “either/or.” Which would Sherry choose…?

Made with Love

Either/Or

Sunny day at the beach or rainy day at home?

Both. And here’s why:

When the rest of the country is waist-deep in snow, the beaches in Sarasota are incredibly warm and sunny, and without the hair-wilting humidity. It’s a true paradise.

It rains most every day in the summer months. That’s when you’ll find me thoroughly enjoying the thunder and lightning storms from the safety of my home.

Riding a bike or taking a walk?

Riding a bike. Always!

Key lime pie or whoopie pies?

This is Florida! I can have a key lime whoopie pie.

Baking pies or decorating a pie shop?

I could never run out of ideas when decorating a pie shop. Someone else can bring me a slice of pie for inspiration!

Receiving a heartfelt letter or a thoughtful gift?

Letters from friends never go out of style. I save them all.
