I’m getting to love The Amish Reader Community more every time I get on it which is once a day. It’s nice to read the comments from other readers and I can get in touch with the other authors, from this web site. Thanks for bringing it back to life.

Wow, what a great list! Summer is a wonderful time for reading. (Well, any season is, right?)

I’m really intrigued by the title and cover of Josiah for President. It sounds like a very unique take on Amish fiction.

Vannetta’s new series looks very good. I’m hoping to read through one of her previous releases sometime soon.

That’s great, Mary! You have to love a series that pulls you in and makes you feel a part of the story. And it’s fun when you get the chance to read a series all in a row, without having to wait long periods of time between release dates.

How are you enjoying Shelley's latest series? I read one of her Amish books (Missing) and a couple of her historicals - she's a talented writer! I've been interested in Murder Simply Brewed - love the title, love the cover (especially since purple is my favorite color)! And I love the title Huckleberry Summer. It evokes such sweet and warm thoughts. Thank you for sharing your summer reading list!

This summer I’ve read a lot of Amish books . I’m currently reading The Healing Quilt by Wanda Brunstetter. I’ve read Josiah For President by Martha Bolton and An English Friendship by June Belfie. Also I’ve been reading Priscilla’s Story by Sarah Price. All very good books.
I’ve revisited Beverly Lewis’ Abrams Daughters series with reading the first 2 books of this series. The Covenant and The Betrayal.
I’ve also read On Her Own by Wanda Brustetter and Child of Mine by Beverly Lewis. Would like to read Murder Simply Brewed by Vanetta Chapman before the summer has past. Have enjoyed all of these books and looking forward to my fall and winter reading.

Last week I read all three of Dale Cramer’s Amish Stories they were very well written and I really enjoyed them. You felt like you were right there alongside the characters.
