About the only books I read are Amish and Mennonite. They take me to places I will probably never be able to visit. Their way of life is very interesting.

Hi Shirley! Great question. They still use the buggies on Sundays and also when attending weddings and funerals.

I love Amish stores too. It’s always makes me a bit nostalgic to step into one.

I think it’s very interesting seeing the different ways the Amish live . I really enjoyed seeing how the Amish from Chouteau Oklahoma , haul their groceries home. Do they use the horse and buggy at all to go to Sunday Meetings or visiting?
I noticed the hats in the Amish store. I have shopped in Amish stores before and have always been able to find useful items I can’t find in an Englischers store. There is an Amish community about 35 miles from where we live. Although I’ve lived here for 45 years we only started visiting those shops recently.
