I was surprised at some of the content and how it really hit close to home. I am adopted, searched for my birth family too. I have read primal wound and was glad that it was included in the story. So far I am enjoying the story so much. I had no idea that it would pull at my heart strings so much as I only got it because it was about Amish and Midwives. (I had my last baby at home).

I had read the book written by Penny Armstrong mainly I think because of my Nursing background and many years of working pediatrics and maternal child. I would like to train as a Doula. (probably miss spelled) I am happy to know you are also the author another book. I couldn’t get it when it came out and will have to hope it’s still in print. My books occupy boxes under the bed, my messy side of the bed, Boxed in my garage and in 2 storage buildings. I finally let go of some to a good friend and History Professor, Jana. Cut me some slack on the messy side of the bed guys, I am nursing my third fracture since March. This time is the right distal fibula.
